| 1 day | Arrival in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Check-in at the hotel. Sightseeing tour of the city. During a walk through the city we will see the Cathedral Church, a unique architectural monument – the Stanislav Augustus Gate, the Madonna on the Minaret, the Polish and Russian Gates, the Turkish Bridge, the Dominican Church of the 14th-17th centuries, the Trinitarian Church, the Peter and Paul Church, the Nicholas Church of the 14th century, the Polish and Armenian Market Squares. Kamianets-Podilskyi is a unique multicultural city that has preserved its traditions for many centuries. Next, the excursion route will take us to the Old Fortress – a museum-reserve of the 13th-17th centuries and the New Castle. We will see towers and dungeons, a well, the Borgovy Pit, the diorama “Battle with the Turks in 1672”, the Karmelyuk Tower, the original torture museum, the city gates, the Armenian bastions. | Day 2 | Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the Crystal Cave – a geological monument of national importance in Ukraine located on the outskirts of the village of Kryvche. You will see dozens of halls and corridors with magical walls of natural origin, formed by gypsum rock. All of them are dotted with bizarre drawings, three-dimensional relief and unusual figures with a bright crystal shade. Each hall has its own name and an interesting story. In addition, there is one rather interesting legend about a rich ruler and his treasure associated with the grotto, which you will hear during the walk. The next no less interesting object of our journey is the fortress in the city of Khotyn. On the slope of the Dniester is located the majestic building of the famous Khotyn Fortress. If you look from afar it seems small, up close it amazes with its grandeur. Already in the 15th century. the thickness of the walls in the building reaches 6 meters, the height is 40 meters. and this is almost a 14-story building. Today the fortress is included in the list of “7 Wonders of Ukraine”. Dinner*. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. |
| Day 3 | Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel. Transfer to Khmelnytskyi. On the way, we will stop at the wonderful and picturesque place of the palace and park ensemble of the Orlovskys in the village of Maliivtsi. We will look at the exterior of the palace of the Orlovsky landowners. We will walk through the picturesque park. Next, we will visit the village of Sutkivtsi where there is a unique church of the fotec. The Holy Intercession Church is a stone sacral building of a defensive type, built in honor of the feast of the Intercession. The Intercession Church is a unique example of the defensive construction of Podillia, now it is a functioning church and museum, which is visited by numerous Ukrainian and foreign tourists. It is one of the oldest defensive temples in Ukraine and the only medieval defensive temple of the tetraconch type. The closest analogue of the church-dungeon is the donjon in Etampes (France).
